Job Description
Kitchen preparation, simple cooking & serving food. Preparation of vegetables & snacks, transporting & serving meals. Washing up and clearing away equipment. Cash handling.
Requirements
- Elementary Food Hygiene
- Manual Handling
- Good customer service skills
- Flexible approach to working hours of post.
- Cashing handling
- Ability to recognise, with training, the importance of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
- Previous catering experience beneficial
Responsibilities- Basic preparation of food and drinks.
- Simple cooking of food (including the heating and/or reconstitution of convenience foods and vegetables).
- Transportation and serving of meals (including the packing and unpacking of food into containers).
- General kitchen and dinning room duties (including washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables).
- Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and the equipment.
- Operating specialised beverage equipment ie Cappuccino Express Machine Cash handling duties
