Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Training sales professional to join a well established and successful company. Our client has an enviable reputation for quality and expertise within the IT training arena. As a result, they enjoy a position amongst the top IT training organisations in the UK. The successful Channel Account Manager will possess an excellent sales track record within the IT training industry and be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the IT training industry.

Main Responsibilities:

*To achieve sales targets from the allocated channel accounts.
*To create new channel partners by means of proactive outbound calls.
*To ensure that your allocated channel accounts are contacted regularly on a proactive basis.
*To work with Channel Sales Support, ensuring that you are both aware of the current status of each account. Once an account is established all the re-active telephone requests will be the responsibility of a Channel Sales Support person.
*To arrange sales visits with partners and potential allocated partners.
*To make formal presentations regarding training solutions, course updates. etc. to each of your major channel accounts at least every 3 months.
*To hold regular sales meetings with management to discuss sales figures, pipeline business, targets, current and potential channel partners etc.
*Where agreed and directed by your management, to spend time at an allocated channel partners location, establishing contacts and building confidence within their sales team, with the objective of building relationships and maximising revenues.
*To adhere to procedures on how to deal with an enquiry for both new and existing channel partners and ensure that all allocated channel partners are serviced and managed properly.
*To ensure pricing guidelines are adhered to.
*To maintain up to date information on all allocated channel partners.
*Chase provisional bookings when necessary. Notify partners of course cancellations and reschedule delegates onto another suitable date.
*To ensure that all data on the sales database is kept up to date and relevant.
*To ensure that no training is sold without ensuring that all the resources are available for the successful delivery of the training.
*To manage complaints and problems from all channel partners.
*When required, attendance at exhibitions or conferences.



Personal Attributes/Experience:

*Current experience selling IT training solutions in a commercial (B2B) environment
*Several years of experience selling IT training
*In-depth knowledge of the IT and IT training sectors
*Channel Sales experience is preferred but not essential
*Adaptable and flexible
*Excellent written and verbal English skills
*Good Team player
*Focused on Achievement of targets and objectives, self motivated
