Chartered Bridge Engineer
West Midlands
An international consultancy is seeking a Chartered Bridge Engineer to lead design teams working on highways schemes across the UK and overseas. This represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who can demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.
Qualifications: You must be a Chartered member of ICE and/or IStructE.
Experience: You must have experience of leading of design teams, fully versed in the use of design and analysis software related to bridges, confident in the use of DMRB and proven design experience of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete bridges
Salary: £55,000-65,0000 plus benefits (negotiable)
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leading design teams working on bridges and other structures
* Developing staff with the team
* Using design and analysis software for bridges
* Business development and client liaison
* Involved in prequals and bids for new work
* Working on projects across the UK (and overseas when required)
