Working in conjunction with the Bristol and other Regional Claims Centres, this high profile role will see you investigating claims on behalf of our policyholders, while maintaining accurate records and an effective claims handling service. The role also includes investigating and resolving complaints by carrying out home visits and meeting the people behind the claims. You’ll also liaise with the Fraud Coordinator and Claims Handler to look into suspect issues and investigate policy indemnity and FSA breaches where required. With a good level of education (five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, at grade C or above including Maths and English Language), you’re ACII qualified. Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of Medico-Legal Compensation Law, you’re the kind of person who is commercially gifted and always takes the initiative. Drawing on knowledge of Employers, Public and Motor liability, sound judgement, confident negotiating and decision-making skills are also essential for the role.
