Job Description PwC's Tax practice has a 6 month fixed term contract for a Client Service Administrator (CSA) to be based in our London Embankment Place office. As a CSA you will be located within and work as an integral part of the London client assignment and project teams within the Tax group. You will deliver professional project, administrative, finance and research services and act as a key communication point between members of staff and partners on the team and, on occasions, with the client directly. You will be given the necessary coaching and training to develop your skills to enable you to fully meet the demands and needs of the role. This role is within the risk management team, therefore exposure to this area is useful, along with a desire to continue in this specialism.


Requirements

  • You will ideally have prior work experience (from an administrative/analytical background within a corporate or professional services environment), and with experience of analysing financial or statistical data.
  • You will have risk managment experience
  • You would ideally have some project management/Co-ordination experience, including client management and service delivery would be an advantage.
  • You should be educated to a high standard including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
You must be able to demonstrate the following:-
  • Proven IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and ideally financial systems and research tools
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills.
  • Some background of financial management would be advantageous.
  • Strong prioritisation, time management and organisation skills.
  • Proven delivery of accurate and thorough work
  • Proven reliability in customer service and problem solving skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to take responsibility for own work under own initiative
  • Able to work to deadlines, and flexible with regard to hours (as overtime may be required) as priorities may change at short notice
  • Strong influencing and team working skills, able to build and maintain trusting relationships with a range of both clients and colleagues
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise confidently and professionally at all levels.
  • Efficient management of client documents, using paper and electronic filing.
  • Interest in own self development



Responsibilities

  • Scanning of documents.
  • Filing of assignee documents updating document database for hard copy documents.
  • Reviewing and amending company information.
  • Reviewing and amending assignee and contact information.
  • Compiling checklists for client visits.
  • Administration support around Client Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Conversion of docs to PDF format.
  • Checking tax payments spreadsheet for matching entry.
  • Running daily reports.
  • Dealing with queries relating to time charging codes.
  • Checking for money laundering / data privacy documentation and alerting the client teams where there are none.
  • Monitor assignment project plans, timetables, budgets and action lists, taking actions to ensure deadlines are met and suggesting solutions to issues encountered.
  • Prepare and collate material for presentations/meetings.
  • Maintain a schedule of client meetings.
  • Work with Expatriate Compliance Group client service team to ensure overall client deadlines are being met.
  • Provide administrative support for team, tracking of processes, take on risk management responsibilities and ensure documents filed in a timely manner.
  • Attend relevant client and team meetings, taking notes of meeting, distributing action lists and following up actions where appropriate.
  • Submitting Tax Returns to HMRC.
  • Monitoring billings and cash collections, chasing clients for late unpaid debts.
