The role will include the following: –

- to work with the Club Operations Manager to ensure that the department delivers high standards of service and achieves financial targets

- to supervise the day to day operation of the department and to manage the department in the absence of the Club Operations Manager

- to recruit, train, develop and coach a team to ensure that departmental KPI’s are delivered and continually improved upon
- provide exceptional customer service and inspire the team to do the same

- to identify opportunities to implement promotional activities to increase departmental revenue
- ensure compliance is achieved in line with legislative requirements within the department

- to work across other areas of the club in line with business requirements and in line with personal development plans

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will come from a customer facing backgroundand be able to demonstrate strong teamworking qualities and the ability to generate and sustain effective working relationships with a diverse range of people.

You will be self driven and continually looking to improve business performance.You will be comfortable dealing with a number of priorities at any one time through excellent orginsational skills. As you would expect in such a role, previous people management experience and good interpersonal skills are essential to this role.

The role is based within a leisure environment and as such flexibility towards hours of work would also be essential to this role.
