Charterhouse Recruitment are working closely with a leading Multinational FMCG business to recruit a Commercial Accountant. The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified or at the Final stages of study of either CIMA or ACCA studies. The successful candidates will have a proven track record working within FMCG or Retail and will have previous experience working on ERP systems and developing non finance relationships.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your duties will include:
- Providing relevant financial information, analysis, evaluation and challenge to ensure optimal investment decision-making and effective risk management.
- Support the sales and marketing teams to develop 3 Year Business plan financial targets
- Establish a strong business partnership with commercial teams, (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Product Strategy), understanding and anticipating their objectives, needs and issues to effectively influence and contribute to decision-making.
- Calculating and monitoring cost competitiveness
- Develop management accounts and reporting, ensuring information is accurate, timely and both assists and challenges management decision-making.
