A commercially minded Assistant Accountant is required for a large distribution business based in Wakefield.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy finance department and will have an appreciation of he wider business operations and interrelationships.
- Manage the rebate system in accordance of all company policies and processes in compliance to SOX controls
- Make accurate monthly accruals for rebate claims
- Work with account managers to ensure an accurate position on the main rebate accounts is established and maintained.
- Resolve customer payment queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in the ongoing development of specialist software
