Are you an experienced Commercial
Gas Engineer looking for a role with a difference? If so, this could be the
position for you.
Our client is establishing themselves as a leading
provider of gas installation and services to the commercial market, with
customers throughout London and the South East. Due to continued
success, they are now looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their
team.
For this key position our client is looking to recruit an
experienced commercial gas engineer, who’s looking to utilise their skills in a
management role and play a part in helping to move the business forward.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer you will be responsible for both office and
field tasks - supporting a team of engineers, identifying opportunities for new
business and carrying out inspections. It’s envisaged you will spend half of
your time in the office, and the rest in the field, covering London and the South East.
Your duties will include:
- Liaising with clients and
engineers
- Assisting with quotations and invoicing
- Customer
relationship development and generating new business from client enquiries

Inspection of heating systems within corporate buildings
- Providing reports
and specifications/recommendations for remedial work
- Carrying out heating
surveys & inspections - making recommended solutions for all survey
results
- Inspecting newly installed or replacement boilers
To be
considered for this position you must have extensive experience as a Commercial
Gas Engineer. This must include a track record of supervising or managing a
team. A commercial gas qualification, such as COCN 1 etc, would be beneficial.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will also need to demonstrate
familiarity with commercial heating/plant rooms and an installation/repair
background. A good level of computer literacy and excellent communication skills
are also key.
