Our client is one of the UK's largest and most progressive water and wastewater companies, serving more than 8 million commercial and residential customers.
They are looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team to help provide advice and guidance on areas such as purchasing contracts, research and development contracts, non-disclosure agreements, advertising copy clearance as well as advising on the application of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006. They may also be expected to provide training and legal advice to people within the company's Purchasing department.
Candidates will have a strong legal background with proven experience of contract review, drafting and negotiation. Some knowledge and experience of competition law as well as public and/or utilities procurement would also be beneficial.
