This is a fantastic opportunity to work for part of a £multi-million food group providing high quality chilled and frozen convenience food products to the UK's leading retailers. As one of the leaders in their market place our client represents innovation, quality, added value and delivery. Due to internal restructuring we are looking for an exceptional commercial manager who shares similar values and has a true desire to drive successful customer relationships through the delivery of effective solutions.
Reporting to the Convenience sales Director you will have full P&L responsibility for one of the top 4 grocery retail accounts. You will be responsible for developing an effective partnership relationship with them, delivering profitable growth through your category understanding, the development of innovative promotions, comprehensive category initiatives, effective account planning and your ability to structure negotiations. You will have a true passion for food and a passion for business and be able to demonstrate a track record of results
You will already be an Account Manager with current responsibilities for at least one of the large or smaller grocery retailers. With a background gained within a food FMCG business you will have experience of working across Own Label and potentially Branded products. An understanding of the NPD process would be an advantage however what is essential is a high level of integrity, energy and honesty.
