Commercial Manager (Printing), Hertford
A well-established printing company based in Hertford has an immediate requirement for an experienced commercial manager with Print / Printing industry knowledge to join them.
The company operates in the commercial print and print/project management and confidential printing, fulfilment and distribution services. As commercial manager you will have a proven track-record in commercial management, estimating and buying of printing and related services and materials.
As commercial manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the commercial office; currently 3 estimator/buyers dealing will all aspects of the company's commercial business streams.
As commercial manager you be responsible for the implementation of the company's commercial policy have taken a full part in its development. You will ensure effective communication between with Sales, Production and Client service teams on commercial matters enabling the company to provide a comprehensive service offering to customers.
Qualifications
*Degree or equivalent.
*3-5 years experience in a senior estimator/buyer commercial manager role.
*Thorough knowledge of print manufacturing processes and costing/returns principles.
*Experienced with print based MIS systems, ideally Prism
*Be highly numerate with good spreadsheet skills

*Have strong team leading and mentoring skills.
*Be highly motivated, with strong organisational, communication & interpersonal skills.
