The role:
We are now looking for proactive and results driven Commercial Manager who can make a real contribution to driving our business forward. As part of the site management team, you will be accountable for:
- Leading the business plan, driving sales, margin and new product development growth.
- Influencing the direction of our categories, to ensure that we maintain quality standards, service level and deliver our profit targets.
- Delivering high quality execution of business unit plans, by demonstrating leading edge insights within our customer base and through delivery in our key categories.
- Supporting the Commercial team with a framework to build tailored plans within the retailer, thus enabling continual growth and category success built on the strength of the customer relationship.
- Acheiving budgeted net profit for your portfolio's.
- Management of the commercial team and responsibility for their performance and adevelopment.

Job Requirements:Essential criteria:
- A strong understanding of our market-place, products, consumers and competitors.
- Successful candidates must have a proven track recordin commercial and relationship management, with experience of working with major multiples (preferably Tesco) in the UK market and in a chilled environment.
- Innovative thinker.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to negotiate effectively would be seen as essential.
- Previous experience in a commercial/sales role preferably with exposure to Tesco/WMS/JS/M&S.
