By way of supporting the Regional Controller`s understanding of their Region`s performance through clear analysis of trading patterns and control of the cost base the role is expected to drive increased profitability within the Region. It supports the Regional Controller in trading c200 stores, whilst also contributing to strategic business decisions.
Objectives:
- Support the Financial Controller - UK & Eire in controlling the P&L with particular attention to one Region.
- To provide comprehensive financial support and direction to the Regional Controller and reporting Regional Business Managers in that Region whilst maintaining an independent vie
Technical and Behavioural Skills
Commercial & personal skills:
- Able to work independently away from the Centre and have strong influencing and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, re-prioritising as appropriate
- High attention to detail
- Independent and challenging
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent PC skills to include Excel & PowerPoint
Minimum level of education or qualifications:
- Qualified CCAB Accountant
