Excellent opportunity to work with a leading Insurance organisation using your Commercial Underwriting experience. The key purpose of this role is to provide Underwriting assistance to the new team including the day to day management of operational procedures and processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and issue confirmations of cover
2. Draft and check policies ensuring that they are appropriate for the risk and reflects the cover intended to be provided
3. Provide underwriting support to regional offices
4. Ensure company, market and client related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time, particularly in light of contract certainty requirements
PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. Experience in an Insurance environment with a track record of providing consistently first class customer service
2. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both internally and externally at all levels
3. Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies
4. Comfortable using initiative whilst working effectively within a team
