Siemens S7 Commissioning Engineer - Leicester/Scotland
£27 p/h, 4 week contract, immediate start
Due to a number of major project wins and several acquisitions over the past 12 months, this renowned systems integration business are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth and development. With major projects already well underway and a shortage of technical expertise within the business to complete all work, there is an immediate requirement for a commissioning engineer with siemens s7 experience.
The role will involve:
*Liaising with the software manger.
*Working on a process plant site in Scotland. The plant is already operational and requires commissioning.
*Working on siemens PLCs, siemens HMIs and profibus software.
*Controls equipment will be on pumps, valves and process equipment.
*Potentially linking siemens PLCs of the new plant with old Allen Bradley PLCs.
The successful applicant must possess the following key skills and abilities:
*Proficient in the use of Siemens S7.
*Experience within a process plant environment - oil and gas, water, chemical, nuclear, brewing or similar.
*Happy to work in Scotland for 2-3 weeks (accommodation is not provided).
*Knowledge of Allen Bradley would be an advantage but is not essential.

*An initial 4 week contract with the potential for extensions.
*£27 p/h Ltd.
*Overtime available.
