My London/South East based PCT client is looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to support them on an Interim basis. You will be responsible for the commissioning of the services for Children and Young People.
The role involves procuring products and services taking a whole systems approach, along with reviewing existing agreements and contracts, with the aim of acheiving high levels of efficiency and obtaining the best value for money.
You will also be required to undertake Project work relating to improving services which will involve implementation of the project vision and management of stakeholders and relevant strategies.
You must have a strong background in Commissioning and Service improvement, along with experience in managing budgets.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- NHS/PCT/Local Council experience
- Childrens services experience
- Commissioning and contracts experience
- Prince 2 knowledge
- Senior management experience
