Medium term contract opportunity within Internal / Change communication for large public sector client.
Reporting into both Head of business unit and Head of IC, you'll lead the communications for a key change programme. With a wide ranging remit to devise and deliver relevant and tailored communications across a variety of channels and to a diverse audience group, you'll draw form your IC experience to prepare appropriate content. As with all change communications there's an over-arching need to be sensitive to your audience and to present clear and positive messaging. You'll be supported by the IC team and Head of, although day-to-day you'll work closely with the business unit - drawing on your stakeholder management skills. Key responsibilities will be:
- Leading the communications agenda of a key of change project
- Drafting complex and/or sensitive communications for a range of channels
- Creating and delivering communication plans that increase employee engagement
- Managing stakeholder relationships and key contact's expectations
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong IC background, with exposure to change programmes. Experience gained within the public or not-for-profit sector will be an advantage, although not essential. Knowledge and experience of a broad range of communications channels (face to face, electronic, print and new media) will be required, as will experience of delivering communications within large and/or complex organisations.
