My Client is looking for a Communications Support Officer to assist their team for approx 5 weeks. The Role: To assist the Communications Officer and the Communications Team to carry out three major projects in Social Care:
Re-structuring the website to ensure it meets the needs of people that use Adult Care Services. Updating and developing information on the web pages and the intranet Populating and co-ordinating the On-Line Resource Directory This post will have responsibility for updating and developing an online care services directory, updating internal and external Adult Social Care web pages, organising the distribution of publications across the borough and data inputting into an electronic database will be a key element of the role. The Candidate: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at different levels Excellent organisational skills ECDL or equivalent IT qualification Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including access, word, excel, publisher and online databases. Previous experience of data input/ entry. Works well under pressure Confident & professional telephone manner with the ability to deal with queries and enquires. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team. Educated at least to GCSE standard. Driving Licence and access to own transport. Candidates must have a valid CRB, applicants without will not be considered.
