OpenCL Compiler development and design engineer (C/C++) vacancy based in the Home Counties. Skills sought include: C, compiler architecture and algorithms, kernel-level software, Linux, WinCE and/or Symbian, Assembler / assembly language, multi-threaded and/or parallel computation, parsers, instruction sets, semiconductors,

A Compiler software developer vacancy exists within my client, a successful and specialist semiconductor company.

Candidates will typically be degree qualified and have development experience of programming in C and with compiler architecture and algorithms. Any familiarity with front-end\parsing, optimisation and back-end/instruction selection would be ideal.

In addition to the above knowledge my client would look favourably on candidates with any knowledge in the following:

- Kernel-level software development

- Multi-threaded and/or parallel computation

- Embedded real-time operating systems (Linux, WinCE and/or Symbian, etc)

- Assembly language programming
