Our client has been one of the leading international financial services brands for 35 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Compliance Officer to join them at their London Head Office to implement and maintain anti money laundering policy and procedures. Analysing and monitoring all activities to comply with FSA and Money Laundering Regulations, they will need you to conduct due diligence checks on customers and agents. Liaising with the necessary internal and external contacts including Law Enforcement, HMRC and SOCA, you will report all suspicious activity.
Using your excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills, you will maintain the internal watch list for suspicious and fraudulent card holders. Responsible for third party cheque cashing operations, you will ensure that items are cashed in accordance with company policy and procedures. They will need you to train all internal staff on AML procedures and you will be involved in the administration of ICO registrations (Data Protection). Continuing with the Payment Services Directive Application, you will also prepare monthly reports as per agreed guidelines detailing card activity.
Our client is looking for an experienced and hard working Compliance professional with the determination and drive to ensure that all necessary regulations are adhered to. Experienced in financial compliance, you will have good knowledge of PSD (Payments Service Directive). This role would suit a highly accurate individual with a methodical approach and with the confidence to communicate and negotiate at all levels.
