A large award winning global organisation that operates across six continents and employs nearly 100,000 staff worldwide has an outstanding opportunity for a experienced Compliance and Ethics Manager to join a forward thinking team.

The position is assigned specifically to business in EMEA and the successful applicant will be expected to utilise their expertise in higher risk areas such as competition law, anti-bribery and corruption to support the business in managing ethics and compliance risks.

The main duties will include:-

  • Assisting in the delivery of annual ethics and compliance strategy and goals.
  • Provide training on key compliance issues and in areas of the Code of Conduct.
  • Being responsible for facilitating annual certification across the business area ensuring certification takes place.
  • Being involved in hands on risk mitigation work within the region when required
  • Provide an insight and assessment of identification, management and mitigation or compliance and ethics risks.
  • Develop and maintain cross function (Audit and HR) dialogue surrounding ethics and compliance risk mitigation.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:-

  • Be educated to degree level (or hold equivalent qualification),this will ideally be a Law degree, or a Certified Public Accounting Certificate
  • Direct knowledge and experience of managing competition and bribery risk within a international arena.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing relevant ethics and compliance risks including corruption, trade compliance (import/export), conflicts etc.
  • Understanding of Open Talk or similar organisational help lines
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, able to problem solve
  • Experience of change management.
  • Knowledge of loss of licence of operate would be an advantage.
