Construction Engineer - Gas Pipeline - Midlands
Our client is a leading provider of infrastructure services in the UK. Who specialise in a number of sectors that include; Utilities, Tunneling, Civil engineering and M&E. Currently one of the top performers in the UK based on their performance in 2008, which is assisted by their reputation based upon innovation, engineering excellence, professional delivery and a culture on providing early efficient and early solutions.
They require a Construction Engineer to join their team in the Midlands, who will be working on the replacement of gas mains for the national grid. Relevant Gas utilities pipeline experience is vital.
The role will require someone with the ability to manage construction activates within their designated area, ensuring objectives of low cost and high productivity are met. You will be able to manage construction teams, who are carry out reinforcements, replacements, diversions etc. Whilst meeting appropriate safety management systems ie. HS(G)65 and HS (G)47.
Relevant skills and qualifications include; IOSH/NEBOSH certificate holder, NRSWA Accreditation and a knowledge of gas installations, pressure vessels, pipeline construction.
