Our client, one of the most successful and highly renowned residential, leisure and commercial developers in the Middle East, requires a “hands on” Construction Manager to ensure control and delivery of a $1 billion US dollar project.Our client requires a highly experienced individual who will have Construction Management responsibility for a significant site. This project will ultimately encompass more than 5,000 luxury 5 and 4 star hotel rooms, restaurants, cafes, parks and onsite shopping malls. The successful Construction Manager will be responsible for the largest hotel construction site in the Middle East.
The Construction Manager Role:
- End to end construction management of Phase 1 - a 1,800 room 4 star hotel and all other associated amenities
- Directing multi-disciplinary Professional consultants and a high performing team
- Responsibility for end to end construction management
- As construction manager, ensure high standards of workmanship to deadline
- Display strong people management skills
- Maintain productive, successful relationships both internally and externally
The Person:
- Proven background in construction management of high end multimillion dollar projects within Europe or Internationally
- Highly skilled construction manager with a track record of driving forward activities onsite
- Strong “Hands on” construction manager capable of managing across disciplines
- Focused and organised with exemplary communication and cross cultural interpersonal skills
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and Arabic
