SENIOR PR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Our client is a leading top 100 PR Company working with major blue chip companies and global brands throughout the UK and in more than 30 countries worldwide. Due to increasing business and success they are now seeking a Senior PR Account Manager to join their lively consumer team working with some of their largest clients.
Reporting into the Account Director you will manage and work as an integral part of a team responsible for the UK PR for several FMCG brands, ideally with experience of consumer accounts and media.
Key Responsibilities:
·To take a lead managing role in the accounts for household name FMCG/healthcare accounts
·Solid experience in consumer and/or healthcare PR at the relevant level is a necessity
·You’ll already be a well-networked PR professional with an impressive contacts book and a string of achievements
·In this role, you’ll deal with consumer journalists on a daily basis, building strong and lasting professional relationships with them
·To manage own areas of responsibility, often working independently, reporting to a senior account director
·A strong writer, perhaps with journalistic experience
·Responsibilities are likely to include the following:
·Day-to-day strategic account management
·Client liaison
·Building relationships with key media
·Press release and article writing
·Proposal preparation
·Report and speech writing
·Providing briefing material for clients
·Event organisation and management
·Other duties as required
·Budget management
This is not a job for someone looking for their first job in PR or who wants to make the move from sales/marketing.
