Continuous Improvement ( C.I. ) / Lean Engineer to £50,000 pa depending on experience
Based: Dartford, Kent
The Continuous Improvement ( C.I. ) / Lean Engineer will indentify, develop, implement and drive improvements throughout the manufacturing facility and lead multiple process improvement teams towards Lean Six Sigma, delivering defect reduction, cost avoidance, loss reduction and revenue enhancement. The Continuous Improvement ( C.I. ) / Lean Engineer will have significant leadership impact on the success of the company’s Lean Six Sigma program by providing technical direction and training to manufacturing teams.
Our client is a world leader in the development, supply and technical support of advanced coating systems for the pharmaceutical industry.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering field. Lean or Six Sigma Green belt certification is a pre-requisite, Six Sigma Black Belt certification will be advantageous. The Continuous Improvement ( C.I. ) / Lean Engineer will have demonstrable success in implementing Lean / Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment, successfully completing several Kaizen or Lean events each year.
The Continuous Improvement ( C.I. ) / Lean Engineer will have excellent Project Management skills, the ability to communicate confidently, clearly and concisely at all levels, a strong knowledge of FMEA and excellent analytical skills. The role requires a degree of travel, some of which will be international.
