A key player in our Employability Team based in Edinburgh, covering South of Scotland and Lothian. You’ll manage a team of tutors, brokers and advisors, providing direction and support. But that’s just the start of it – your ability to communicate effectively will allow you to develop and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders and become an active member of the local management team
A typical day could include meeting with your direct reports and setting KPI’s and team objectives, working with your line manager to identify areas of improvement within delivery activity, attending and participating in meetings, carrying out checks on learner files, conducting staff observations and deputising for the manager in their absence,.
You’ll need to be organised, have bags of energy to motivate your team and be able to make quick decisions when facing difficult situations day in day out – even when under pressure. Ideally you will have a IAG qualification.
