Contracts Manager - New Build Affordable Housing
My client are a well established Social Housing specialising in regeneration and affordable housing in the North East area. The company is on a massive and exciting growth path, expanding all its operating regions, leading to new positions and a wealth of career development opportunities for employees.
As a result of their growth they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to manage new build affordable housing contracts in the North East area.
You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing multiple contracts concurrently. Additional duties include:
"Discussing build-ability and design issues
"Managing Health & safety
"Programming and planning all works
"Devising a build programme
"Being the company representative at Client meetings
"Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
"Ensuring KPI's are being achieved
"General delivery of the contract
To qualify for this exciting opportunity you MUST have previous experience working on new build social housing and/or commercial housing on a large scale. You must have a proven track record to deliver projects within timescales and budgets.
