Title: Contracts Manager.
Type: Permanent (following a three month trial period)Place of work: TowerBridge, London.
Area of coverage: London / within the M25, occasionally throughout the UK.
Who 33 London Ltd are looking for and what is on offerDue to the company having the best growth of turnover since its conception in April 2006 the Managing Director needs to appoint a contracts manager to become a leading member of the 33 London team.
At present there are 9 employees and this role is ideal for someone who is yearning to join a young, successful and expanding company and to be instrumental in continuing the success and growth with the potential of becoming a Construction Director with Shares in the company.
33 London are also looking for someone who will be able to add value to the company. The following are items that are essential: -
- Bringing new clients to the table.
- Bringing new contractors to the table.
- Implementing new ways of thinking.
- Implementing new approaches to construction methods.
- Implementing best practice.
- Implementing quality of workmanship.
Responsibilities(With the use of QS / site managers and office administrator)
- Managing multiple tendering proposals.
- Managing multiple construction projects.
- Managing client issues.
- Managing the construction managers.
- Managing the QS.
- Managing the close out of projects.
- Settling final account with contractors.
- Settling final accounts with clients.
- Looking after projects upto £2,000,000.
- Develop new business.
Type of ProjectsAt present 33 London have completed projects upto £730,000 and are looking to expand on this.
Our main core work is within the private commercial fit our and refurbishment sector.
33 London have recently completed it’s first public sector project (£550,000) and are looking to expand in this market.
33 London have moved into the domestic market and have just completed a high spec residential refurbishment project (£650,000) and are looking to expand in this market.
33 London have completed one new build project (a domestic extension £60,000) and are looking to expand in this market.

BonusThe market is very competitive at present, but this does not mean that a company cannot still make a healthy profit. We would anticipate the contracts manager to accumulate bonuses in the region of£5,000 - £10,000 in year 1, £10,000 – £15,000 in year 2 and £20,000 – £30,000 in year 3.
