CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - Matlab/Simulink, C/C++
Location - Crawley, West Sussex
Salary - £Excellent
CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - A leading AIM-listed fuel cell company who specialise in the production of environmentally friendly alternative energy products are currently going through expansion and urgently require a CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to join their team. The CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will design, test and implement embedded software, control strategies and analysis tools for the company's products.
CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER; Key Responsibilities:
- Design of reusable control strategy components to be used across all company products.
- Ownership of particular software components from design and coding through to testing.
- Maintenance of released software (bug fixes and feature requests).
- Use the Matlab/Simulink tool chain to develop embedded control algorithms and software.
CONTROL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER; Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree qualified in engineering related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years recent industrial experience.
- Experienced in using Matlab/Simulink, Visual Basic and C/C++.
- An understanding of physical systems.
