Responsibilities
We're looking for experienced C&I engineers with a flair for solving complex problems from first principles and the ability to lead and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. You'll also enjoy working closely with clients on a range of demanding issues whilst mentoring and training junior colleagues to meet the high standards we expect.
Key Responsibilities will include:
C&I equipment specification, assessment and justification; Front End Engineering Design package generation; Project cost, time control and reporting; Liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors; Developing C&I capability and growing the business.
Requirements
We would expect you to be chartered (or working towards chartership), have a good relevant engineering degree and be able to demonstrate sound technical experience. In addition you will have experience in one or more of the following:
Conventional/nucleonic instrumentation; Safety Instrumented Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Fire Detection Systems; Safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513), SIL categorisation & safety lifecycle; Previous nuclear power station or nuclear industry experience; Availability, Reliability and Maintainability; Fault trees, FMEA, HAZOP knowledge; Automation system design. We are looking for individuals with the ability to lead, mentor and develop a team, who are capable of growing the C&I business. Determination and drive to succeed is essential, as is the ability to develop strong networks with our client and within our organisation.
Nuclear industry experience is an advantage however, we are principally looking for first class C&I Engineers who have the capacity to learn and develop their skills for the nuclear industry. Candidates for these roles should also be willing to undergo a security vetting process.
