Control and Instrumentation Surveyor

My client, at the forefront of the utilities industry, are consistently developing and surpassing current industry standards. Due to continued commercial growth and success they are currently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Surveyor, based in Kent, on a contract basis.

With previous experience in the field your main duties will be surveying process plant and produce red line mark ups or new drawings for CAD operator to update/produce in CAD, desktop surveying using drawings, vendor data and modification packages to produce red line mark ups and transferring information from Instrument Loop Diagrams onto Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams

To complete this role it is likely that you will have experience with reading and interpreting P&IDs, ELDs and Instrument Loop Diagrams and will have a good understanding of requirements of DSEAR/ATEX, of requirements of IEC61508 and 61511 and of working with SCADA/DCS.

This contract will run for a minimum of six months initially and for your efforts and services you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay and a stable workload in the current economic climate.
