Core Accountant, Margins

About the role
Working within our Margins team, which sits within our Financial Planning and Analysis function you’ll have an influential role to play in the production of margin forecasts. This will involve drawing information from across the business, analysing income and cashflow, looking at liabilities and costs and allocating cost of funds. Reviewing earlier predictions against the actual figures we achieved, you’ll go on to develop our margin forecasts going forward and then determine how they impact our 5-year corporate plan.
About you
Coming to us from a similar financial services background, you’ll be an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified accountant, with specific experience of financial modelling and extremely strong technical and analytical skills. In terms of your personal qualities, we’re looking for a strong communicator – someone who can influence others and establish credibility quickly. You’ll also need to demonstrate sharp attention to detail, astute commercial awareness and a highly flexible approach. From a practical standpoint, you must also be highly skilled in Excel.
