Main Role Responsibilities:
Ensures effective capture, diary management, accounting system update, communication with Clients and end instruction to the market of all COAC events. Within this, the area will also support changes to processes to facilitate client Lending activity. Given the diversity of events managed by the team and the manual elements in most processes, underlying controls are actively challenged and maintained by the team to ensure they are suitably robust to minimise financial loss.
The purpose of the role is to act as lead on technical work, to deputise for manager on change, people or other work.
Additional Responsibilities:
• To process all UK and international corporate events accurately and efficiently to agreed procedures and within agreed timeframes.
• To liase with custodians and clients so as to ensure notifications are processed and fund manager decisions are received in a timely manner.
• To ensure accurate instructions are given to custodians within agreed timeframes.
• To investigate and to respond to queries from internal and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
• To identify the root causes of differences and sharing of learning so as to avoid reoccurrence.
• To prioritise tasks so as to ensure all work is completed to agreed timelines.
• To record data for MI purposes.
• To coach and train others so as to build skills.
• To review work to ensure done to standards of accuracy.
• To help in the continuous improvement of processes.
• To take responsibility for tasks such as change input or technical improvements as directed by manager.
• To deputise for manager where requested.

Experience:
• Essential - Use of MS Office packages especially Excel and Word

• Desirable - Investment Administration Qualified (IAQ)
