Role Profile:
To take responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation of all financial and management information required from a Family Office.
In doing so you will be need to manage and develop a small dedicated Finance team.
You will also be required to undertake projects and additional responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the Family Office and the needs of the Family are being met.
Role Responsiblities:
·Financial and Management Information
To prepare the following information for the Families various business interests, which include Limited Companies, Partnerships, Trusts, Pension Schemes and other charitable entities. All information must be prepared accurately and within the timescale set.
·Monthly management report comparing actual performance to budget
·Monthly cashflow statement
·Annual financial statements to audit standard
·Cash Management
To manage cash availability to ensure that funds are available to meet the Families needs.
·Cost Management
To take a proactive approach to the management of costs ensuring that competitive prices are secured for all essential services, with any non essential services identified, challenged and rationalised should they be authorised to continue.
·Compliance
You will be required to ensure that all business interests continue to comply without reservation with all the regulatory standards and requirements. A brief but not exhaustive list has been provided below:
Audit Corporation Tax
VAT Company Secretarial
Data Protection Health and Safety
·Information Technology
To manage the IT infrastructure of the Family Office with external technical support to ensure that business interruptions are kept to an absolute minimum.
To proactively investigate potential improvements or developments to the system and make suggestions that will enable greater cost effective work flexibility.
·Insurance
With the support of our brokers you will manage the Family’s commercial and personal insurance portfolios ensuring that the most appropriate cover is provided in a cost effective and timely manner.
·Projects
From time to time you will be required to undertake specific project work which will enable you to use your research, analytical and presentation skills in order for you to be able to express an informed opinion.
Experience Required:
Accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent)
Minimum of three years of relevant management experience
Ability to communicate with various professional advisors and intermediaries.
Senior level audit experience and corporate tax knowledge desirable

Salary £x (dependant on experience)
