This leading children's charity is currently recruiting for a Corporate and Events Executive to work within their successful, energetic and dynamic fundraising team across both events and corporate fundraising. This is an excellent position for someone who has experience in events or corporate fundraising and who is looking to hone their skills further. This is a one year contract position.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT:

MAIN DUTIES:
To secure and manage relationships between the organisation and its corporate supporters
To promote the charity events through delivery of an effective marketing strategy to ensure that participant recruitment is maximised for all events
To be responsible for managing UK challenge events and corporate fundraising campaigns from concept to delivery
To produce and manage budgets for events as well as researching and developing new events
To ensure that supporter database records are kept accurate and up to date
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
The ability to produce and manage income and expenditure budgets
Excellent oral and creative writing skills with a proven ability to write fundraising materials
The ability to work on own or as part of a team
Tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience of corporate and events fundraising or of working in a customer service environment
Experience of project managing marketing campaigns
