Cost Accountant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor/Administrator/Utilities & Civil Sector/North Wales/Chester/Liverpool/Cheshire
Client
My client is a large northwest based civil Engineering company with an annual turnover of around £100 million. Due to winning a large contract in the North Wales area an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cost Accountant. You will be based from their North Wales office providing support to the Administrative function of Utility contracts in Colwyn Bay.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Updating work planning/DOMS with times of plant and job details
- Closing down of job cards and work planning
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and customers
- Processing of material invoices
- Participate fully as a partner of the team
- Attendance of client meetings as and when required
- We are looking for the above at Colwyn Bay. Salary up to £18k maximum. Someone with a decent administrative background, ideally dealing with figures etc would be good, or a trainee quantity surveyor also would be ideal.
Requirements
We are ideally looking for someone with a proven track record working as an administrator, dealing with figures, Costs etc or a trainee quantity surveyor background would be ideal. A Civil or Utility background would be an advantage.

- Good level of education and IT literacy
