A well regarded manufacturing business within a growing sector in the Leeds area are looking for a cost accountant to report directly into the finance manager. The organisation supplies some of the largest retailers in the UK and has a reputation for investing in people.
The key responsibility of the role is to produce the weekly sales reports, presenting these to senior management. You will be preparing product costing' as well as other cost reductions throughout the business. You will also assist the finance manager in writing the budget and quarterly forecasts as well as being involved in other ad hoc project reporting.
This role will suit those who have a commercial approach to decision making. Ideally you will be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification with a proven track record in an accounts based position. The business offers a very competitive salary and excellent benefits.
