Role: Cost Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 + £6200 Car Allowance
Mackenzie Stuart is currently working with one of Europe's largest electrical retailers. They currently require someone to join their organisation to fill a new role as part of a £50 million capital expenditure programme.
The Role
As the Cost Manager you will fully responsible for:
*Delivering reports every month with analytical data
*Managing the QS team
*Managing the cost control function within Store Development from pre Budget through to approval
*Manage final accounting on all projects
*Ensure appropriate cost control measures are in place
*Oversee tendering processes, invoice payments, settlement of final accounts and deal when necessary with Group taxation.
The role forms part of the Store Development Construction team within the UK property function. The Construction team will have a capital expenditure programme of £30/50m per annum covering new store openings, store refits, the mezzanine programme and other ad hoc capital expenditure projects relating to the store chains.
Skill and Experience
Ideally you will be a RICS Member
Have excellent knowledge of retail fit out programmes
Posses exceptional organisational skills
Strong IT skills
Able to demonstrate good negotiation skills
Experience of working with contractors
