We are looking for Local Cover Supervisors to cover day to day supply requirements of Our Partnership Schools in South Birmingham in the new Academic Year . Cover Supervision is a great way to get into Education and pursue a career in teaching and proved to be the preferred way of covering day to day requirements of most of the schools

We are experiencing a very high demand for Cover Supervisors both for day to day and also Long Term Assignments. If you have a minimum of 3 months or 40 days experience in Classroom Control at a Secondary School Setting, we'd like to hear from you
Main Duties will include:
Supervising whole classes or large groups.
Managing pupil behaviour.
Responding to pupil’s questions.
Assist pupils to undertake set activities as appropriate.
Reporting to senior management as appropriate.
Adhere to school behavioural management procedures.
Work within childcare protection legislation.
It is essential that suitable candidate:
Will have proven behaviour/classroom management experience and skills.
Will have experience of working with 11 – 18 year olds.
Will be degree educated or equivalent.
Will be confident to stand in front of the class and deliver pre set work.
Have a good understanding of national curriculum and ability to think on their feet.
It would be an advantage to have an area of specialism in core or non-core curriculum subject and excellent ICT skills.
