Our client, a leading high street building society requires an Investment Adviser for their branch in Tranent.
Purpose of job:
To work as part of a team to provide a service to customers and members, promoting the building society and its products together with those of its third party suppliers. The successful candidate will undertake customer interviews and will provide support to the Customer Manager.
Responsibilities:
·Achieve referral targets for mortgages, financial services, and general insurance.
·Undertake customer interviews and provide the appropriate level of information and advice.
·Support and coach customer advisers in identifying sales opportunities, including promotional activity when required
·Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the Building Society’s investment products and 3rd party products.
·Follow and comply with the investment enquiry process.
·Broad knowledge of financial products and services
·Experience of undertaking customer interviews
Salary from £13,500 per annum plus Saturday premium payments circa £1,165 pa (pro rata) and attractive financial sector benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Saturday 9am - 12pm on a rotation basis.
