New position within a leading organisation - Customer Portfolio Manager

My client is a leading provider of credit and customer programmes with a formidable reputation in the market place. Working with some of the most recognised household brands and businesses in the UK they offer credit partnerships across a multitude of industry sectors.

Through growth of the business they now seek a Customer Portfolio Manager to take responsibility for the Customer Portfolio. Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager the individual will be tasked with maximising profit across the portfolio. Working closely with the data team you will be identifying trends and profit streams making commercial decisions on activating and re-energising profitable customers.

You will need to have exceptional CRM, segmentation and database knowledge and an ability to make informed decisions on the commercial return of the customer base. Working with the Customer Marketing Manager you will also have input into the future product offering and marketing strategy.

This role is not for the faint hearted as it will carry a lot of accountability and responsibility.
Varied and exciting, this fast paced position will be looking for someone who can identify customer spending behaviour, develop the data capture strategy, create growth within the database and maximise profitability.

It is anticipated that the successful individual will come from a financial services, Utilities or mail order background.

The most important parts of the role are knowledge of segmentation and making commercial decisions, utilisation of large consumer databases ensuring their profitability and the development of robust, commercially focused CRM programmes which get results.
