This role requires you to want to fulfill your potential and be part of our winning team driving our business forward.

Customer Sales Advisor

The Customer Sales Advisor reports directly to the Customer Sales Manager.

Daily activities

·Ensure calls are handled in accordance with the Excellent Response Company telephone procedure.

·Utilise and maintain SDS.

·Cross and up sell to existing customers.

·Conduct pro-active outbound service calls to current customers in order to increase productivity.

·Gathering customer and competitor data. Updating database systems as required.

·Implement database cleansing and data entry policies and procedures.

·Negotiate orders and improve previous margins where possible in-line with guidelines.

·Handling queries and objections from customers – escalating to line management as appropriate.

·Achieving individual targets volume, margin, conversions levels, outbound call KPI as agreed with the manager.

·Setting up new accounts and handling credit applications.

·Monitoring DD and top up customer accounts levels and seek to correct where out of line with consumption.

·Negotiating prices in an effort to up sell.

·Sell DD and top up and other services as directed and set up accounts accordingly.

·Prepare and send out weekly and daily faxed prices to customers.

·Achieve KPI targets as set by the business.

·Follow-up unquoted orders to gain orders and market intelligence.

·Investigate and clear stopped orders – re credit, price, defected – in-line with guidelines, policies and procedures.

·Inform customers at time of order if they have payments overdue on their account.
