DFP PUMP PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking a DFP Pump Project Manager to be responsible for the overall project management of multi projects involving cross functional teams responsible for the development and industrialisation of common rail pumps. The position will report to the Diesel Program Management Director.
In this role you will have overall responsibility to deliver flawless project launches to meet the committed objectives and flawless launch metrics and have ownership of the projects from kick off to product launch in the plant, using the company`s PDP process to assure the project meets both customer & business objectives for cost, quality, delivery & performance. You will develop project plans (project scope, timelines, cost, resources, risk, quality, communications and procurement) then lead and deploy overall project timing to the team as well as coordinate the cross functional teams to develop & implement plans to fit within timelines & key dates. In addition you will conduct regular project team meetings and ensure teams are accountable for their deliverables & timelines, and manage risk escalation and resolution as well as support Customer meetings and support all functional discussions at customer. You will manage and track all prototype phases A,B,C up to and including ppap, followed by ramp up tracking. In addition you will lead and apply PDP process, PDP Gate reviews and support Engineering to run PDP Design reviews. You will also create and update BEN reporting - Identify, analyse, resolve and/or escalate risks in a timely manner in line with European escalation process and support divisional initiative for tracking flawless launch of all new product programs.
The successful applicant should have an Engineering degree or equivalent as well as Project Management experience at a senior level. Ideally you will speak German. You must be very well organised & disciplined and have experience with working on multi projects - up to 3-4 at any time.
