DSP signal processing engineer required, skills sought include: DSP, Signal processing, wireless communications, Physical Layer, (PHY) and Layer 1 / MAC level operation, 3GPP 3.9G (LTE), 3GPP 3G (W-CDMA / HSPA), 802.11n or 802.16.e (WiMAX), OFDM, Software, Real-Time, DSP Algorithms, implementation

DSP / Signal processing engineer required for my world renowned client in the semiconductor industry. This position is within a new and highly talented team developing a state of the art DSP Architecture targeting latest and emerging wireless communications standards.

Candidates sought will have the following typical experience:

Physical Layer and Layer 1 / MAC level operation in at least one of: 3GPP 3.9G (LTE), 3GPP 3G (W-CDMA / HSPA), 802.11n or 802.16.e (WiMAX)

OFDM digital radio design including demodulation, FEC decoders, synchronisation, calibration methods, AGCs; DSP theory & algorithm design

Excellent mathematical, C and Matlab skills

Signal processing (DSP) concepts and algorithms

Strong background in real time systems: Software, Hardware, Signal processing and Embedded C.

Knowledge of current wireless protocols and base band architectures
