Resident Site Engineer Based in Luton Area
One of our top clients, a fast up and coming maintenance provider in the Building Services Industry are currently seeking to employ a permanent Resident Maintenance engineer for a recently awarded HVAC contract at a 4 floor commercial office complex in the Luton area.
The ideal candidate should have very good communication skills and client facing professional manner as the successful candidate will be the sole engineer based on site and to be backed up by the mobile service team.
Ideally you should be a time served Electrical Engineer with City and Guilds parts 1 and 2 or higher and to have strong overall building services knowledge especially with Air Conditioning systems. Our client has stipulated that it is essential that candidates have previous hands on experience of the maintenance and repairs to Versatemp systems. The role will consist of general planned and reactive maintenance to Landlord Services including: Power generators, power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm system, pumps, motors, AHU's, cooling towers, 1st line chillers & boilers, split A/C units, plant room areas, heating and cooling systems. As the maintenance engineer for the site you will also be dealing with sub contractors, raising permits to work, risk assessment, hot works etc.
