Invigorate recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one our prestigious client in Baildon for a Debtors Clerk in the Commissions Team, Finance department.
The role will involve:
*reviewing the debtors accounts, investigating and resolving issues in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
*to process the commission statements received from their insurance providers, investigating and resolving issues arising from these statements in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, your duties will include:
*Undertaking regular review of the debtor accounts, investigating and resolving queries in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
*Investigate and resolve issues arising with the monthly high value debtors review in a timely and accurate manner, and report back by set deadline
*Assisting in accurately processing monthly commission statements received from insurers in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
*Investigating and resolving queries resulting from these statements
*Providing assistance with the month end effort as requested
*Undertaking all other duties as reasonably required and directed in order to maintain the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department and to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
*Meticulous and thorough
*Sense of responsibility and ownership
*Comfortable chasing insurance providers for monies owed
*Good organisational skills
*Positive and professional attitude
*IT literate, particularly Excel
*Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
*Previous experience working in a credit control environment is preferable
