Due to further development of their business, this is a newly created temporary six month contract position for our established client within their Supply Chain Division.
The Demand Planner reports directly to the European Planning Manager and will work closely with the company Export Sales Department.
The position will be the main focus for managing and controlling all sales forecasts for the Export, 3rd Party and Intercompany businesses.
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing the use of the Manugistics modelling system and the operation of the sales forecasting elements of the SAP system.
The position will also be the focal point of communication and form a hub for contact between the Supply Chain and Export / Intercompany Sales. It will encompass all aspects of forecasting and demand management.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of forecasting software and SAP, a strong analytical ability and be capable of clear and effective communication with both the Sales and Supply functions.
