A fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planner to join our prestigious client.
Job Purpose:Proactive planning and subsequent creation of requisitions to ensure the right stock is in the right location at the right time to fulfil agreed service levels across the arena of operations within the company’s frame work whilst minimising overall stock holding. Key Responsibilities: Review flow of materials, Take pre-emptive action to minimise stock outs Develop product life cycle planning Produce requisitions to maintain minimum stock holding whilst continuously improving service levels Key Tasks: ·Monitor and manage inventory level, overstock and obsolescence provision. ·Review material demand patterns and amend stock levels accordingly. ·Analyse stock-outs, identifying causal factors and implement appropriate corrective action. ·Produce purchase requisitions for inventory replenishment. Escalate to line manager any issues that will impact product availability.
Candidates will have previous experience in a similar supply chain position and ideally have a relevant degree and or a CIPS qualification will be highly advantageous. |
