DEMENTIA CARE ADVISOR/TRAINER
32.5k + Car
(Mainly North, North East and Scotland but must be prepared to travel anywhere within UK)
We currently have a rare opportunity working for our client, a large healthcare organisation as a Dementia Care Advisor.
Your role will be to inspire and encourage staff to provide the very best care by delivering training that embraces a person centred philosophy and will ensure that staff will develop as champions within the Dementia Care field.
The role will be exciting and challenging, you will deliver training within care home and utilise Dementia Care Mapping to highlight training needs and working with staff to develop action plans to develop a person centred approach to care.
You must have a sound clinical knowledge of Dementia Care and Person Centred Care approaches along with a sound theoretical knowledge of Dementia Care and Person Centred Care approaches
Must have a flexible and able to prioritise and organise own time
Must be able to develop and deliver training packages including additional material deemed necessary by the Dementia Care Development Manager
